Meet Our New Community Planner

We're excited to introduce CCPC's newest member of the team, Community Planner, Nina Weisblatt!
Nina was born and raised in Vernon Hills, IL, studied in Massachusetts, and now lives in Philadelphia. A few years prior to her moving here, Nina's parents moved to Chester County, where she would visit them and explore different parts of the county.
Nina is interested in working on zoning codes, comprehensive plans, and leading community outreach efforts. Additionally, she says, "I'm excited to keep learning from experienced planners and continue the CCPC's great work in terms of sustainability, housing advocacy, and helping to support communities with their zoning."
Her favorite place in Chester County is downtown West Chester, and in her free time, you'll likely find Nina at a concert, with a good book, out running, traveling, or exploring new cafes with friends and family.
Nina loves exploring new places, and before moving to PA, she worked at a hostel in Sicily and backpacked across Western and Eastern Europe!
When asked what her favorite quote is, Nina said "The impulse to travel is one of the hopeful symptoms of life." She sees this as encouragement to stay curious and deepen your connection with the world around you.
