GVF Land Use Seminar October 8, 2010. GVF in partnership with 10,000 Friends and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council presents a Land Use Seminar that will focus on implementing smart growth in Pennsylvania. Keynoted during lunch by Geoff Anderson of Smart Growth America.
The 2010-2011 Master Planner Program begins October 7th, with Community Planning. Three evening classes on subsequent Thursdays educate municipal officials and volunteers, professionals, and citizen-stakeholders. Another Master Planning Program will be held at Octorara High School on November 2, 9 and 16. This course is part of a training series produced by the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute designed to inform local municipal officials and planning commissions about planning.
